John brings over 35 years of financial and investment experience to our panel and is the Co-Founder of Illume Partners LLC. John specializes in the evaluation of operational risks of hedge funds, crypto funds, private equity funds, venture capital funds, real estate funds, and private credit funds covering both large institutional investment advisors and emerging managers. John works with endowments, foundations, pensions, sovereign wealth funds, and family offices to undertake investment and operational due diligence related projects and has performed operational risk assessments on some of the largest and most complex funds and management companies. Prior, John has held senior roles with Kroll, Gottex Fund Management, and Nomura. John earned a B.A. in Finance & Marketing from the University of Florida and is a Certified Due Diligence Analyst (CCDA).
