Opus Fund Services is fully NIS2 Cybersecurity Compliant. Is your fund administrator ready?

Ireland is currently in the advanced stages of adopting the EU’s Network and Information Security Directive (NIS2) into national law by its forthcoming National Cyber Security Bill.

NIS2 establishes a strengthened regulatory framework aimed at achieving a high common level of cybersecurity, operational resilience, and incident reporting consistency across the European Union.

The Directive introduces stringent operational and reporting standards for organizations deemed to be in critical sectors such as financial services, energy, health and transportation. Opus Fund Services is subject to these enhanced requirements as an in-scope Essential Entity.

As such, we are pleased to announce that Opus currently satisfies all applicable requirements under the NIS2 Directive and that our information security and governance frameworks are compliant with current and anticipated Irish enforcement expectations.

Opus has implemented a comprehensive set of technical, organizational, physical, and people-based controls addressing all core NIS2 risk management domains. These measures include:

• Network & information system security

• Business continuity & disaster recovery

• Supply-chain & third-party risk management

• Incident detection, response, and recovery

Thank you to Dr. Kuljeet Kaur and our world-class in-house cybersecurity team for keeping Opus positioned at the forefront of these critical regulatory advancements.
