Opus Expands Management Team with Senior Hires
Halifax, 04 July 2019:
Opus Fund Services (“Opus”), a leading independent fund administrator, today announced the appointment of two industry veterans to its growing Halifax, Canada team.
Geoff Appleby joins the Innovation & Product Support team. Geoff has over 20 years of experience covering a wide range of specialisms from operations, financial modeling, reporting and data visualization to project management and software design. Prior to joining Opus, Geoff served was Head of Operations at due diligence firm Castle Hall, and Senior Vice President at Citco Fund Services.
Bob Burden joins the Client Support team. Bob has over 20 years of experience in the fund administration industry. Prior to joining Opus, Bob ran hedge fund operations in Halifax at Maitland, and was Director of Operations at Butterfield Fulcrum (now Mitsubishi UFJ Fund Services).
The Opus Halifax office has expanded quickly since opening eighteen months ago. Opus CEO, Robin Bedford said: “These appointments reaffirm our reasoning for opening an office in Halifax.
